Heights and the Reliant Center

Pretty sure Erin and I ate our way through Texas... but can you blame us check out this Gelato!

Never was a big basketball fall and after the final four I NEVER will be. It was because of said final four that I wasn't able to fly home for THREE WEEKS! So we went to downtown to see what all the commotion was about. He is what we found...

But we did go antique shopping

and ate amazing Macaroni and Cheese.

Mine was called the hangover. Mac n Cheese over hash browns with a fried egg and green salsa and sour cream.. YUM!

Washington Corrider and Galveston weekend

Sitting "reserve" where I got based in Houston wasn't the best scenario i could of hoped for. But like everything else we make the most of what we are given. And when I couldn't go home on my two days off a week I made sure I kept busy with friends. Erin or Rubi Roo what I like to call her and I painted the town together and had a blast. But my favorite time there was when Mike came to visit!

First night we went to the cheesecake factory at the Galleria Mall for some drinks...

then we went down to the Washington Corridor (basically a strip of bars) for dancing and more drinks.

Day two we ran around trying to get some errands done while we had a car and the we went to Galveston!

We had so much fun playing in the water that was already warm (In April)! And having a drink at the beach side bar.

We drove around the Island and checked out sites for awhile before heading back...

Everyone said the beach was dirty... but not any dirtier than LA beaches. I actually liked it but I'm thinking that had more to do with the company than the place.

Day three Mike had to leave and I had to go back to work... Boo to that!

Paris or Horseback Riding?

Miss Micaela turned 7 and I told her we could go wherever she wanted... well I didn't think she would want to go to Paris at this age but that's what she chose. Lucky for me after a week or two of wondering how the heck I was gonna take her to Paris! she changed her mind and decided she wanted to take horseback riding lessons... PHEW!

My babies gave me the pick me up I needed

Half way through training the kiddos came to see me! I only had two days off the entire month but one day with them is all I needed to remember why I was there and I why I needed to finish!

We went to the mall for lunch, watched a movie and rode the free train. Then it was back to the books for me...

They loved the train... I loved that it was free!

Studying over tea...

If we weren't in the classroom we were grabbing a bite to eat while studying. Flight Attendant Training is not for the lazy that's for sure. Long days and long nights made all of us a little cray cray as my friend Victoria would say!

This place down from our hotel served frites and this lamb sausage thing that was featured on man vs food. Pretty tasty stuff!
